You're acting so shy in the front seat with the
Streetlights dancing across your cheeks.
Catch my eye, and I promise I won’t turn away.
The lights they change, but we don’t face the road
Until you hit me with those kiss me lips

I don’t want to take you home
I don’t want to end this night.
I want to watch the moon grow old and
I want to watch the star shine die.
We’ll run circles ‘round this town ‘til my gas runs out.
You’ll smile and pretend you didn’t know
I took the long way home.
