Love enters
And love leaves
Its frail time allotted
Is not ours to decide

It grants us peace
And in its absence we need
Not just from it
But from the ones we pushed away

Love is around us
As we say
But not always within
Still a reach away

And in the dark where lovers ignite
Though it burns bright
The empty space it was
Defeats us

No more I say shall I live
Under its spell of kiss or quarrel
But then the blessing of its light
Carries me to dangerous heights
