Are they really starving for want of bread
In wedding feasts with cake I let them eat
Like pigs to taste of bacon which on wheat
Lets us out to mate owned less by the fed
Up to now with here and there well unread
His story how she threw him off effete
Swept under handed rug with it replete
Of that the dog unleashed though mastered shed
As tears remorseful for the codex wed
With scrolls down screen while smoking those in heat
Before the final field is set complete
To race for ribbons breeding blew ahead
Of time and place first conscious of defeat
To quicker beasts more hungry than the dead?
