Feb 2022
as the sky changes from bright baby blue
to soft yet vivid oranges, golds, pinks, and violets

we see psychologists
instead of each other

we go home
instead of dinner, together

i do my homework
instead of looking into your icy blue eyes
to feel everything you feel,
those silent, wordless conversations
that fall between us..

you quietly watch films by yourself
instead of gently pressing your lips
against mine..
