freckles

you were freckled by the sun and your genes and every time you looked at me oh, i felt weak in the knees and its not like i couldn't see the flaws in your design the warning signs or the gears turning in your mind but i chose to ignore them because it might be over now but i'll always have that summer settled in your freckled arms
