Sep 2013
Burning bright strands of hair
encapsulate my memory.
Fair complexion,
and concrete eyes.
Shifting-
encompassing my pain
At a loss of knowing
no options.
Initial failure
heartbreaking and condemning.
Liberated,
but you don't know.
I am searching
but there is no trail of breadcrumbs.
I am chasing the shadow of a ghost.
So unobtainable.
I cannot give up!
My dreams never looked so bright
as what I am living now.
Yet here I am.
Where are you?
Do you even know
that you changed,
that you saved,
my life?
