The Past is No Illusion

I have come to the conclusion

The past is no illusion

nor the future a distraction

from the times we contract in

the faction of us has created a lust

so great i tried to contain but i must

so softly you cried with tears of hope

created an ocean fearless i cope

for our losses, that we may never have them

for the cross of what you call a chasm

across the ******* cave we crave

a new journey together we save

ourselves down the road forever
