I Couldnt Be Your Type

I never meant to bring you teardrops

I just wanted to be your only hope

Like a raindrop to a flower

I never meant to give you a cruel shove

I just wanted to be your happiness

To make you smile forever!

I counted the stars between your fingers

You made me promises in the moonlight

That you would never break our trust,

I still find my soul within your breath

Yet you have chosen another sky

And left me in a darker desert!

I will survive, take care of yourself,

Be fully you, just as you want to be...

One day, your dreams will come true.

My mind is drifting in a quiet fog,

And I am used to the pain within me.

Just forgive me—I couldn’t be your type!
