Marriage
This crumbles like
The topping of
Apples.
Apples baked with so much heat and potential.
Children and sugar - one on the same.
Sweet, but too much in this creation.
Marriage was
Dessert to life
But no crumbs are left;
Consumed by young greedy faces.
