My bags are packed,
I've folded all our memories into the corners.
The sky is blue and wide open, no clouds.
The old house looks behind me.
I know all of its windows, it's doors,
Everything about it...
But when the lease runs out,
You gotta move on.
I take one last time to turn and look at it,
Remembering all the joyful times that were there.
Deep in my heart, I'm a bit scared,
But I know it's the right thing now.
I'll love you in my fond memories,
As I glance back at you through my rear view mirror.
It's time to find a new place -
Potential for new memories, new feelings, sights
And most of all, true love and happiness.
