What tragedy occurred, weren't we more than this?
You meant so much to me, I know, but did you just pretend?
I cannot take this pain, our love, crushed by my own demise
-
You were my one true weakness, not true love
The pieces were missing to this blank puzzle.
My heart is torn, my soul turned ash.
I loved you but there was too much to ask.
-
I never meant to hurt us both or to end it just that quick
But just so you know now, I never loved you, makes me sick
My twisted mind still fills with hope, decaying hope, your trust
Every time I think of you my gut wrenches to the top.
