The festivities are over, there's no one left to smile
To sing, to hug, no one to stay for awhile
The house is all empty: everyone has gone home
The house feels so empty, cold and alone
Until next time when all the rooms are full
And warm and containing all of the souls
Who make my life so great and swell
And make my story one worthy to tell.
