Weary eyes, late hours, I sit alone in question
Thought patterns left incomplete, a puzzle with missing pieces
It is a wonder, fearing the very words you long to hear
This burning ache leaves behind the most pleasant shivers
- - - - - - - -
The latest hour could never provide the stars to aid our sight
Voices distant, shrouded in blankets of limited communication
There must be an answer to the unspoken question in our minds
We need a revolution, we need to find a resolution tonight
- - - - - - - -
You are a beautiful savior, but the demon inside as well
You relieve the pain, but raise horrific welts of your own
Will you cease the pain, can you let yourself love and be loved?
Or will you feign it long enough until I'm gone
- - - - - - - -
Contemplation, alterations, unable to explain them
The wonders of life before our eyes leave so many empty spaces
I needed to believe that there was meaning behind your words
You're untouchable as I beg for your caress.
