There's Always Going To Be..

There's always going to be the haters

who will hate the love

but who am I to judge that

All I do  is dance with the truth

on a sinking ship

on my date with death and misery.

This life had a change of plans that aren't so easy

But who am I to say that?

Now I'm down to writing songs

about crashing hips and falling hearts.

You're saying all the wrong things at all the right times

So I shield what you don't even notice.

But at least we know how to sing and dance

on a sinking ship

and carry a tune

on a burning bridge.
