Oct 2021
Sluggishly walked by the trees along the park
The day was bright and fairly windy
And the sun hid boldly under the blackish clouds
Sending visible beams across the sky
A candid spectacle  that pierced the sight
Casting copious reflections  upon motley leaves

Out of the sky heaven fell on me
Hitting softly upon my gazing forehead
Tiny sparkles of colourless drops
Dampened the picturesque natural ambiance
With signs of moisture and earth aroma

I doubled my steps to reach for cover
Close enough stood an idle hut
As I lifted my eyes to measure the gaze
I spotted a stunning heaven in the heavens
That calmed my stress and troubled steps
A flashy view of a charming rainbow
Tinted the sky in perfect orbits
Showering glitters of hope upon the seer
And bands of rays in splendiferous array

Like eyes feasting on dripping honey
It forced liquid smiles down my throat
Oh if I could catch the variegated sky
Would wrap it in linen and made it mine
And behold daily its dazzling hues

The red reminded me of scarlet cherries
Roaming the streets of North America
The orange shone like dainty tulips
Dancing in the airs of beloved Holland
And the sunset yellow smiled smart as gold
Deep within the soils of China
The green sparked like olive fruits
Hanging on magic wands in Europe's Spain
And the blue twinned along with the perfect sea blue sky
The indigo below the cute green
Dazzled on in utter amazement
And the violet brought me back home
To relish the velvet fruit of Africa

All together carefully created
Is the exquisitely coloured rainbow
Conveying a message of hope to lost souls
And love psalms to weary hearts
Rainbowcolours
