What beneath my feet doth hold
Thy body strong, and steady
When all the while I feel weak
Thy palms are warm and sweaty.
Feverish feeling all over my body
Clammy skin, to touch so cool
Skin as pale as the fairest of them all
Faint, and falling like a fool.
No more strong and steadiness
Lanky with eyes that droop
A body so frail and fragile now
Above thy life does beauty group.
Taking my hand, lifting me to my feet
Strength now rushes over me
Whence all the while it was dream
Allowing my heart and soul to see.
Hidden behind a closed door
My life seems as described above
Once the dream took over my mind
There was nothing more than love.
Waiting to capture my heart and soul
To refrain me from seeing anything less
Now I understand the meaning of ones self
Open your heart, for your life shall be blessed.
