Blue

by ByKg

She loves irises, clear sky and the sea The newly painted wall and butterfly pea flower tea All those things were blue — and so were his sparkling eyes But those ocean eyes that she loved so much, They bear nothing but beautiful lies He gave her a new shade of blue — Something that couldn't be seen But could only be felt in the dead of winter Her favorite color betrayed her Too late when she knew. kg
