I am a figment of your imagination.
The ghost in your dreams.
The silence leads me to a depression
You’re leaving and ripping out the seams

You’re so lost it’s so unpredictable
I bet you didn’t know God made you into an everlasting miracle
Depression gets so hard it’s so unbearable
Doesn’t mean that life is so terrible

Say it sadly, and say it right
Are you having trouble sleeping at night?
Is your heart getting lonely on cloud nine?
Do you feel like you’re running out of time

Do people know what you mean?
When you tell them about your dream
Do they look at you with a forceful silence?
Stand alone in time watching the world with no offense

Say it sadly and say it right
Are you having trouble sleeping at night
The lights go out and darkness is around
Dream a dream that doesn’t make a sound
Say it sadly.

Enemies are enclosing you and you’re broken down
Does fear even exist, does it make a sound
Hold on it’s a wild ride
Through the dreams that never died

The moon looks down, it shines on love
It shines through your window, isn’t that enough?
Life is glass because it falls apart
Are you putting together the pieces of your broken heart

You’re so lost it’s so unpredictable
I bet you didn’t know God made you into a miracle
Depression gets so hard it’s so unbearable
Doesn’t mean that life is so terrible

Say it sadly and say it right
Does it feel so better when I’m there by your side?
The noise falls out and I’m still there.
Does the moon shine brighter when you’re alright
So say it sadly and say it right
