In the old world of antiquity,
Not one righteous man could be found.
God said, "My Spirit shall not always strive,
My patience is about run down."

But in that old world of antiquity,
There was ONE righteous man found,
To whom God commanded he build a boat.
So he and his family wouldn't drown.

Through righteous Noah,
To the wicked world,
God's warning message was sent,
"You have one hundred-twenty years to repent."

God instructed Noah to build a big boat,
Out of Gopher wood, 450 by 75 by 45 feet.
Put a  window above and a door in the side,
And pitch it good with tar, so it won't leak.

By faith Noah obeyed the Lord,
And for 120 years, he worked and preached,
Warning all humanity, that Devine judgment  was coming.
But, alas! His own family were the only one's he reached.

True to his warning, in 120 years,
With all of Noah's family safe in the ark, God shut the door,
Broke up the canopy of water above, the well springs below,
The lightening flashed, the thunder roared.

But Noah and his family,
Received God's saving grace,
His wife, three sons and their wives,
For they were not like the rest of the race.

So ended the existence of  all that breathed.
All were destroyed, none survived,
Except Noah and his family of seven,
Whom, because they feared God, He saved alive.
                              APPLICATION
Now in this ark of safety and salvation,
Is a picture of Eternal Life.
As Noah and his family, IN the ark were saved,
So also will be saved, all who by faith are IN Christ.

"In the world is damnation,
In Jesus Christ is salvation"
So where are you, my friend?
Where are you?
