Walking down the street
To the song in my head
And both my feet are sore

Trying to drown the noise
And everything she said
Pretending I don't love her anymore

But now the song has a different tune
And I don't like how it sounds
You know it tears me all apart

It was another type of blues
And I just can't get it out
Like a knife running into my heart

No I can't get her out of my head
I just can't get her out of my head

Never thought I'd see the day
That she would walk away
And leave me all alone

But she told me she was done
Now it's back to square one
And I can't reach her on her telephone

No I can't get her out of my head
I just can't get her out of my head

Once again I find myself
Reaching for the shelf
Trying to drink away her memory

And it probably doesn't help
But it gets her off my brain
Long enough for me to sleep

No I can't get her out of my head
I just can't get her out of my head

No I can't get her out of my head
I just can't get her out of my head
Man I can't I just can't
I just can't get her out of my head
