David Sang
David sang a psalm seducing son
Of man by man exalted out of need
To know himself beloved under one
Lord of all in all the hymning sung
By boys inquired of fathers which concede
David sang a psalm seducing son
Prodigal with instrument hand strung
Out of mind to make the hearer bleed
To know himself beloved under one
Heaven hummingΒ harmony first rung
In ears to harp at bottom chord agreed
David sang a psalm seducing son
Apparently disowning age undone
With sounds of music innocent to plead
To know himself beloved under one
God to tip the scale up to tongue
Pronounced to spit on harder horns than read
David sang a psalm seducing son
To know himself beloved under one
