Beneath this moonlight, I sit
Thoughts of you cover me like the sunlight
while my mind is soothed by the cold wind.
My heart instantly melts to distant tunes of a techno song
I danced to as a child in my grandfather's hut.
This feels like no ordinary night
for babies shall walk
the blind shall play the drums
as the deaf dance to the thunderous beats.
The mute shall sing songs of joy
and the clouds shall open
to reveal the stars in their heavenly wonder.
Then you, my precious, shall take my hand
place your soft face on my chest
and together, we shall dance the night away
