It was that rainy day when I first laid my eyes upon you,
You were getting drenched in red , I had a clear view,
The cold gust wrapped in icy drops greeted your presence
I stood there mesmerised in your enchanting essence .
I cursed my shameless eyes for ogling at your grace
But to my surprise you looked straight at my face,
I expected an imminent reprisal, but you answered with a simper
My heart ached with every beat as my emotions grew deeper.

The bus came untimely and stopped with a rattle
Only to herd us inside, resembled more like cattle.
I craved to know her more and resented the crowd
Of mindless beings who were unromantic and loud.

There was never a ****** to this β€˜could be romantic’ story
But what it explains is the magic of love and its glory.
