Cosmic brilliance explodes across my mind
Stars of emerald, topaz, ruby, amethyst and sapphire
Bursting forth in splendid firework array
Color, erupting in Solar Flares
Intensity of beauty that  pardons all fear
Banished fear-drops falling to the ground
Like a million meteorites falling in an ebony sky
Then lie by the millions sparkling now upon
The shimmering diamond sand grains of a glorious shore
Aquamarine waves of polished liquid glass waves
Roll and crash upon towering citrine and aragonite cliffs
A million splashes of liquid gems rush upward into  mist
Roars of ocean surf fill my hearing, my heart rising with the tide
Sudden flashes assault my eyes powerfully
A crash like ripping earth, and the cliffs of citrine fall
Awaking, I lay beneath soft grey covers
Beneath the sloping roof, beneath the rain, beneath the sky
I feel the thunder, and I listen in remembrance, of the dream,
Slowly  the last of the storm dissipates
The storm rolls away on the tide of the ebony night
The clock is ticking, ticking, ticking
Clouds recede across the desert sky, chasing the storm
Marching into upper climbs of mountains of green
Into other dreams, of other sleepers
Gentle moonbeams fall across my pillow
I sigh and shift into another dream
less splendid
