When the twilight fades,
the darkness envelops the world.
There I will be:
back down in the dewy grass,
breathing with the earth;
eyes wide-
taking in the millions of specks of life.
I could count them all
with a life-time of darkness;
but the light brings new days,
new chances.
Yet,
still,
I wait for the time
where I can steal out into my bliss -
our bliss
and lay there in silence;
you,
me,
and the stars.
