a stranger once told me that someone told them that it is a fact that all the stars in space outnumber every sound and word produced by every human that has ever lived, ever.
i know that might make you feel pretty small, and as much as i hope you feel as lovely as you really are, you are probably lying alone tonight, curled in a soggy mess of tissues and blankets, wishing that your breathing will slow to a peaceful stop.
i would give anything to let you know that you are the reason the millennium’s worth of stars shine so bright. you are the beauty of wind and the rustling of leaves, and when a rainstorm is raging through the night, i hope you think of me when you awake to the chimes in your open window making the soothing melody that cradles you back to the contentment of sleep.
