Why one? I am so many —
A glorious drum
On top of the world
Beating so loud
Can never beat a symphony

The long days are hours
And minutes and seconds
A fleeting breeze in June
A warm sunlight in December
It’s not the big picture
A naked scene to plunder
It’s what’s left in the dusty corner
That’s all that I remember

So many jokes so boring
No stars at night are shining
No hilarious lines, no rhyming
But bits and pieces floating
On these demented days
Remembering
I kind of lost the way
We were heading
But I recall your eyes
Sparkling
I recall your smiles
Shimmering
Like a moment frozen in time
Our lives are photos
No stories no plots
No sense
behind the curtains
Whispering
Not for the lack of time
Do we forget we are alive
But for the lack of life
In the time we live

No turning back
No body to sway
Or feet to dance
No second chance
The hair’s already gray
No use to cry
In the shade of yesterday
But hey
I got these moments
I got these notes
I barely remember
Not the faces
Not the people
But the company
One by one grew so many
And all these notes
wove a majestic symphony
