Cold that the wind blows at night on a humid evening
Briskly it felt on the skin while you stand on the balcony
Slightly it gets through as you start to shiver
Ideally, I’d bring hot drinks or hand you your favorite sweater

Leading you back inside escorting you like a gentleman
You feast your eyes to the organize set up ready for movie night
Furnace flaming bright, snacks are still warm
The drinks are just right, while I have you in my arms

Comfy with you, there’s nothing else I would ask
As we cuddle on the sofa and watching melodrama
You fall asleep so I could only cherish this moment
To tell you things such as before you awaken
