Aug 2013
From slumber and the silence of the womb
To dawning and the brightness of the light
That fades to black, as in a shuttered tomb,
Are left but darkness and the dead of night.

Then night ages to grey before the dawn
And golden glows the east as morning breaks,
As with the rising sun a day is born
And once again to light the earth awakes.
