Subway Ride
I love the summer morning subway smell
of early sweat and last night's ****
of third rail electric stink
of rats and food scraps
The roar
the blast of furnace heat
the charming chime
the welcoming voice
the kiss of cold air
Shoulder to shoulder
head to chest
thigh to thigh
(check out her *******!)
She turns away in disgust
each stop edges me closer behind
until with lurches and squeals
we bump and grind
Shoulder to shoulder
thigh to thigh
no where to hide
I love my summer morning subway ride.
