Can I get a beer, you bet
Oh yes I can vote
By all means I can go for a draft
It's has eons since I left school
All documents show am an adult
They will admit me in at local strippers

But, I have only attained age of reason
Now I understand seasons
That there are friendship levels
Now I appreciate solitude
I can say no without the need to explain
Oh I love my new age

Purity of intent drives me now
Not the fear of punishment
Or a dangling carrot
I see with so much clarity
Life is much simpler
Age of reason
You beaut,
Why did it take me so long to be here
