This Thing Called Life
Content with the consequences
The continuous cycle is endless
Without many stout defenses
We all remain victims
We try to live out each day
Trying to stay out of the way
Despite that our days turn gray
Then we decide to just stay
Seems we are in a dilemma
But we will never become sinners
The power is within us
No time or patience for pretenders
Let my guide lead me to a wife
Cut the tension with a bucher knife
Let us never give in to personal strife
As we navigate this thing called life
