THE SHIELD BECOMES YOU
PEASANT, MEEK, AND FEARFUL

ANY CHANGE ASTOUNDS
AS NEEDLESS, AND FEARFUL

YOUR LIFE IS BUILT IN BOUNDARIES
YOUR LIGHT IS KEPT INSIDE
YOUR SIGHT IS LAMED, TAMED AND ABANDONED
MAMED, DULL, FLICKERING, SHAME

YOUR FEAR IS MOUNTED ON THE PRECIPICE
DUG IN, CHAINED IN THE LABOURED SLAVE
THE WAVES THAT WEAR ON YOUR BODY OF STONE
SILENTLY BLEED INTO YOUR MIND

YOUR FEAR IS LOVE THAT BATTERS DOWN THE WALL
THAT SHATTERS YOUR NICHE OF SAND CASTLE COMFORT
CHALLENGES YOUR FRAGRANT DREAM
AS ATOMIC WIND THROUGH A CITY OF EMPTY SOULS
