I see how you treat her brown eyes so well,
The most delicate touch
Among the softest air
For if it cannot be mine,
There is nobody I’d rather see protected
And glowing under your sweeping gaze
The most radiant flower,
Shining under a misty rain
She is lucky and I see it most clear,
Your pure sentiments I hear
And when she needs you very most,
You endure a mile backwards
To walk her home
