Life is full of all sorts of things
Like a roaring waterfall or the beautiful bird who sings

While heartbreak, misunderstandings, and pain abound among everyone
Happiness, joy, and contentment find few
and from others it always seems to run

Are we doomed to repeat this in an endless loop

It brings past regrets never to forget mistakes that have been made
Even with the best of intentions and plans that are so carefully laid
