Poem :The Imagined Dead End

I faced reality but failed to accept it
Upstairs i had gargantuan expectations
In my prayers i had this tremendous faith
In my heart i knew i would immensely conquer


I saw the walls become stronger
I saw the war becoming longer
Longer than i anticipated
Stronger than i envisaged


I just gave it a thought , this is the dead end !
Alone in my misery , no friend
It's all hazy , i think I'm now blind
Sudden changes barricaded my path

I heard the voice shouting ....
With tears in your eyes
You will see no future
With war in your mind
You will cogitate of no future

I had to go back
I had to redraw the map
It was A  First Attempt In Learning ( FAIL)
