Forgive me, my love, for I cannot love you right.
I don't know how to
I think you should leave,
And I hope you find happiness.
Woe to me, the monster.
Forgive me, my love, for I will never understand
How your mind works
I'm still learning to understand my own.
Forgive me, my love,
for I have grown to close to you
And it is now time for this monthly ritual
Of pushing people away
Forgive me, my love
I am just trying to do the right thing.
