I miss the smile that hides a million tears
I miss the smile that drove away my fears
I miss the smile that tells me "it's okay"
I miss the smile that tells me you'll stay

I miss the smile that urged me to be the best
I miss the smile that taught how to rest
I miss the smile that gave me inspiration
I miss the smile I loved the most without question

Oh that smile, that precious smile
Take me back to your wondrous smile
Back when I didn't have anything
But it felt like I had everything

Separated by circumstances
I'm facing the consequences
I wish I could relive every moment
When life was good to me and I'm genuinely contented
