Always striving in ways you can’t see
If you could just see the potential in me
If you saw us like I see you
You wouldn’t worry about a thing baby
It takes two
How can we take over the world
If you don’t believe I’m right there with you?
You’re not your father
Or his mistakes
I’m not her
I’m here for you
Even through the heart ache
the loyalty and strength you see in yourself
Don’t you see it, in me too?
Just because I feel a lot
Doesn’t mean I don’t want to
I wish you could see how much I love you
You wouldn’t worry about a thing
