It’s been days, weeks, months and an eternity since
I’ve done something useful with these hands.
I make no exaggeration, I’ve been stagnant for so long
now, no motivation, no drive, no power to turn over within myself.
I wish I could keep my spirits lifted on my own, so it wouldn’t
have to be your duty, love.
But every time I put my lips on yours and lay eyes on your face,
I remember what I was put on this earth for.
Only you can reignite the flam within me.
Only you can stir me.
Only you can make waves within me, love.
