Tea For One
I often wonder
If we could go back in time,
If feelings would be different
And memories would change.
If only if only,
What if what if?
Everything reveals sadness
But tears are a gift.
Not a person can comprehend
The emptiness in her room.
She wished for just a friend
When the devil came too soon.
Here's a short tale of a girl;
She threw a celebration.
All she needed was comfort,
From her bitter desperation.
Killing her slowly was her devil,
He shadowed her like clouds.
Although again the devil answered
Her desires spoke loud.
Tea for one the party claimed,
What a prize it would ever be.
Her & her devil all alone
For a sip of tea.
