THE SIREN
the siren may be said to be
the lady of the sea
naiad are her kin
eyes that entrance all
who see her
a temptress to all
eyes that magnetize
bewitching men since ancient times
blue eyes that match her tail
hair as bright as the sun
to light of day
to dark of night
her siren's song i hear
when the siren sings
by scarlet rose
