Is it to fast to have these feelings I feel

I had just got out of a 4 year relationship. I met a guy; or I should say went to high school with him, he liked me from a distance. He was shy, i was shy. He finally step up n said something to me after so many years And... He a amazing every thing i'm looking for but is it to soon to have these feeling for someone so fast? we been talking for a couple of months now but it seem like for ever.
