Tag along ghost

I’m alone but not

By myself

The ghosts followed me home

To the wind I thought

Were whispering trees

Truly whispered to me

So the ghosts stay

Usually in the corners

Out of the lights

So I keep the lights low

Usually with scarves

Covering the lampshade

I don’t want them to feel unwelcome

In their own home
