As I'm twirled on air,
         effortless in my head,
I catch a glimpse of her
and my confidence is suddenly dead.
She's a flame
hot
passionate
Cruel how she flickers so elegantly
on the same air I had twirled on moments ago.
Now my air seems pointless and stolen,
my oxygen snatched and completely consumed by her.
My breathlessness feeds her and makes her grow,
even more breathtaking.
She has only started her inferno
and in that moment
I became extinguished.
