7 moons in the sky,
Stars surround them way up high

Supernovas filled the air,
emerging like a solar flare.

6 moons all aglow
Shimmering like the winters snow

Meteors crash but have no sound,
Stardust floats like a fluffy cloud.

5 moons look as thin as glass,
As you watch from the freshly cut grass.

Craters deep like cheddar cheese.
But with no light, the moon will freeze.

5 moons still and quite.
Like Saturn’s rings spin in a riot.

Blast them to bits,
As they turn to moon mist.

4 moons left in space,
Each of them crushed as if by a mace.

Shake and crumble,
The moons all rumble.

3 moons in a row,
They look so soft as they swift and flow.

Nothing’s better, as they float like a feather.

2 moons as grey as ashes.
Side by side they look like glasses.

Two lenses with stars as a frame,
Jupiter’s storm, crashed and sang.

1 lonely moon left in the sky.
Looking around the rest went goodbye.
