The dark waters crash below

As the dark sky floats above me

This darkness that spreads, friend or foe?

It suffocates my soul at sea

The night falls and this grief

has crept into the air

my morals, my stands, my beliefs

Have crumbled in despair

This dark puts tears to my eyes

but thats only part of the cost

This dark converys a message, which lies

the truth; that I have lost

The ones for whom I care

have left me with no hope

I'm trying to hold, but I can't bare

I honestly cannot cope

But this darkness has a cure

a new path to be free

to bring peace to my mind, and pure

serenity within me

This cures not hard to find

It lies under my feet

just one jump; I'll leave behind

The pain, I can't repeat
