one

it’s early morning
her smile beams sunlight
in my direction

two

afternoon sun glows
her soft skin luminescent
touching mine lightly

three

under the moon, the
curve of her lips sing sweetly
salutations, love

four

she’s familiar, like
warm laundry, morning sunshine,
a kiss on the cheek

five

the light rustle of
wind carries her smile far
and wide, ear to ear

six

hollering my name,
her lips build a harmony
which guides me back home
