Green
I used to love the color
How it made me feel
Calm yet energized,
Upset but not?
So Surreal,
It was
Until it engulfed me
Every crevice in my skin was filled
Its density thickening with every movement I made
Until I could move no longer
A pig stuck in mud,
A chunk of pineapple in an innocent glob of jello
The Green compressed me
My soul, my lungs
Shot.
