Poems
Dec 2020
alone
Solitary
Alone in a cave of stillness
Every night I have a sickness
No one to talk, nothing to do
Left with my thoughts and pain to subdue
None but I am to blame
To converse and think I thought lame
But to my eternal shame
I cannot gather myself though I have a monster to tame
So happy I am to the faces outside
Treasure them more than I to myself inside
So much I have left to decide
Yet so little I have tried
I will lose though I have never won
What sin I have done
To be the one in hates eye
Faster than a May dies
I want to run away
Alone in a cave stillness
I trapped myself
My pain in greatness
Flooding my mind is something nonself
